When I was little, I tried making Butterbeer by blending root beer and butter together, then microwaving it.

Random Memory

In 6th grade, I was a Harry Potter character for Halloween (none in particular). Since it was still the beginning phase of the Harry Potter craze, there was no fancy merchandise sold by toy companies, etc, so I made my own working wand out of a stick, a small lightbulb, some wires and a AA battery. It was all rolled up in some textured paper and the battery + wire was hidden in my palm. Everytime I cast a spell, I’d press the wire to the battery and the bulb lit up! My favorite spell of the night was Lumos, of course.

I was crafty as a kid ;)
